So you’ve convinced a lead to book a house viewing – that’s a BIG win! 🙌
Now it’s time to impress them and move them further along their property-buying journey. You can achieve this with excellent service and proactive follow-ups after the viewing.

Step #1: Appointment reminder for house viewing
Send this message script before the scheduled appointment as a gentle reminder for your lead. If possible, include details on how to get there to make the process even easier for them.
“Hi Andy, looking forward to meeting you at the Haven Residences showflat tomorrow for your viewing.
⏰ 1.30pm
📍 Lobby @ Haven Residences, 60602 Chicago.
🚗 Self-drive: Free visitor parking available
🚕 e-Hailing: Set destination as Haven Residences Lobby A
Let me know once you arrive in the lobby, and I’ll be there to welcome you. 🙂 See you!”
Step #2: Thank you message after property viewing
Send this message template within the same day after the viewing to impress your leads with great overall service.
“Hi Andy, thanks for coming to check out the Haven Residences showflat today!
The spacious layout and dual-key concept seem to be features that you really loved. I think they’re great too. 🙌
If you have any further questions about this development, feel free to ask me here.”
Step #3: Follow-up on interest after house viewing
Send this WhatsApp follow-up one or two days after the viewing. See if the prospect had time to think more about the property they viewed.
“Hi Andy, hope you’re having a good day! ☀️ I just wanted to see what you think after viewing the Haven showflat recently.
I totally understand that buying a property is a big decision with many factors involved – happy to answer any questions you may have over text or call.
If you’re ready to secure your unit at Haven Residences, I can also walk you through the next steps. Just send me a 👍”
Step #4: Follow up on interest (again 💪)
Don’t be shy to send another follow-up! Maybe they missed your previous message, forgot to reply, or just needed more time to think. Try to engage the lead again within three to five days after the last follow-up.
“Hi Andy, just checking in again to see if you’re still interested in the project you recently viewed. I’ll keep it quick. 👍
What do you think of Haven Residences @ Chicago? ⬇️
1️⃣ I’m interested, but I need more info before deciding.
2️⃣ I’m interested, but I’m exploring other options first.
3️⃣ Not interested. I want to look at other projects.
Send me the number, and I’ll do my best to assist you. 🙂”
Step #5: Create a sense of urgency, if they’re really interested
Send this message if the property you’re selling has a limited-time promotion or limited availability. Ideally, you should try to send this within one or two weeks after your last message. Any longer and the lead may start to forget about the property they viewed.
Encourage those leads who are almost ready to buy to take the next step.
“Hi Andy, how are you? Some quick updates on Haven Residences. ☀️
I’ve been told there are quite a limited number of units left with the layout you were looking for, especially in the towers with unobstructed views of the city.
If you love the development but need more time to think, you could always place a *refundable* deposit of $200 to reserve the unit you absolutely love, and decide later.
Send me a *Yes* if you’d like to do so and I’ll share which units are still available.”
Continuous follow-up, even if they stop replying
You’re very likely to encounter cases where the lead stops replying entirely, even after sending all five messages above. However, this isn’t the end of their journey with you as their real estate agent.
Leads may ignore you for many reasons you cannot control, but give them enough time and they’ll eventually be ready to buy a property.
Give yourself the opportunity to capture those sales by being proactive with your follow-ups and touch points – even if it’s just sending them festive greetings, like new year wishes on WhatsApp. You could also share new listings you think they’d find interesting.
Don’t worry if you feel like you’ve missed the opportunity to connect with some of the leads you already have.
